Bobby Naderi: Movies and TV Roles

Bobby Naderi is an actor known for films including Under the Shadow, Argo and The Beekeeper. His career crosses independently produced drama, international horror and mainstream action films. A filmography should identify each production by year and character so that similarly named performers do not get conflated.

Under the Shadow

In the acclaimed 2016 film Under the Shadow, Naderi plays Iraj. The story is set during the Iran–Iraq War and blends a family's fear of bombing with unsettling supernatural elements. His part belongs to the family circumstances that establish the film's emotional stakes. The movie should not be mistaken for a documentary about the actor.

Because the film is widely discussed as both horror and political drama, readers may encounter several descriptions of its genre. A useful credit guide focuses first on Naderi's actual role and then explains how the movie fits into his wider career.

Argo and The Beekeeper

Naderi has a small role in Argo, a dramatization of the effort to rescue Americans from Iran during the 1979 hostage crisis. In The Beekeeper (2024), he plays Agent Matt Wiley. These appearances demonstrate his movement between supporting roles in historical drama and contemporary action thrillers.

His other film work includes The Taqwacores and Dotty & Soul. A list of credits is not a list of starring vehicles; films often have multiple performers with very different amounts of screen time.

Television and career research

Naderi has also worked on television, including a role in The Better Sister. Check production credits before treating rumors of a sequel or future season as confirmed work. The most useful entry points remain Under the Shadow for serious genre drama and The Beekeeper for a more conventional action setting.
