Victorious: the Nickelodeon breakthrough
Gillies played sharp-tongued Jade West on Victorious, which aired from 2010 to 2013. The show's musical-comedy setting helped showcase her ability to combine performance styles. She also appeared in the iCarly crossover connected to the Victorious universe, which is why some databases list both titles near one another.
Those credits belong to the same early-career phase, but Jade should not be confused with a different character simply because the programs were connected. A character guide and a performer filmography have different jobs; this article focuses on Gillies's screen credits.
Dynasty: a very different lead role
Gillies later starred as Fallon Carrington in the CW reboot of Dynasty, which ran from 2017 to 2022. The role placed her in a high-profile primetime soap built around business rivalries and family conflict. It is a major shift from the high-school setting that introduced her to younger viewers.
The series provides a useful contrast in her career. Jade's pointed humor and Fallon's rapid-fire confidence are different characters, but both demanded timing and sustained ensemble work across multiple seasons.
Movies and animation
Film roles include the horror feature Animal (2014), the comedy Vacation (2015) and the thriller Arizona (2018). In animation, she voiced Selina Kyle / Catwoman in Catwoman: Hunted (2022). The voice role matters because a viewer looking only for on-camera films could otherwise miss it.
Her 2024 film Spread offers another example of her adult feature work. Some online lists group television movies, shorts and theatrical releases together; a practical guide should identify each format instead of suggesting they all had the same distribution.
How to explore her work
Fans of musical comedy might begin with Victorious, then watch Dynasty for a longer dramatic assignment. For film, Animal and Vacation show two very different tones, while Catwoman: Hunted offers a voice-performance sample. Release dates and current streaming rights may change, but the credited works remain stable historical facts.
The keyword variation 'Liz Gilles' is frequently a misspelling of the actor's name. The correct name is Elizabeth Gillies; this single page owns both the formal name and common alias rather than creating duplicate filmographies.
