Megan Fox in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2: Her Voice Role Explained

Megan Fox is credited as the voice of Toy Chica in the 2025 movie Five Nights at Freddy's 2. That is a voice-acting performance for an animatronic character, not a human character she portrays on camera. The distinction answers the main search question without confusing the film's cast with the characters in the video games.

What character does Megan Fox voice?

Fox provides the voice for Toy Chica, one of the toy-era animatronics in the sequel. The character belongs to the franchise's horror world, where animatronic figures function as performers and threats within the story. A movie voice role can involve dialogue delivered separately from an animatronic's physical effects, costuming or puppetry.

The film credit is listed in entertainment databases and was announced during a 2025 Blumhouse presentation, reported by TheWrap. Those sources establish the casting much more reliably than fan trailers or voice-comparison videos.

When was her casting announced?

TheWrap reported on the casting in October 2025, ahead of the film's December 2025 theatrical release. This matters because search snippets from older coverage may describe the film as upcoming. As of November 2026, the sequel is no longer an unreleased project.

Fox's participation adds another horror-related entry to a filmography that already includes Jennifer's Body. However, the two projects are not linked by a character or shared fictional universe. Treating them as such would turn a simple acting credit into invented franchise lore.

Voice cast versus on-screen cast

Voice performers can be listed alongside live-action actors in a movie's full credits. Their work is not interchangeable: providing an animatronic's spoken lines does not mean the performer wore its suit or controlled its effects. Cast lists may also include puppeteers, physical performers and technical crews who contribute separately.

MatPat was announced as the voice of Toy Bonnie and Kellen Goff as Toy Freddy, in coverage of the same casting presentation. Readers who want to identify voices should compare the exact character credit rather than guessing from similarities between game voices and film dialogue.

Does she play the same character in the video games?

This article addresses the 2025 film, not an assertion that Fox voices Toy Chica throughout the game series. The character existed before the movie, but screen adaptations frequently hire different performers and change how characters are presented. Unless a specific game title lists her in its credits, the claim should not be extended beyond the film.

Why this credit stands out

Fox is widely associated with live-action roles in action, horror and comedy. A character voice performance is a different type of acting work, making the Toy Chica credit easy to miss when browsing only photos of on-screen performers. It is still an official cast contribution and belongs in a complete film-credit chronology.
