Meet Mike Lookinland, known as Bobby Brady from The Brady Bunch, with an overview of his TV credits and later career.
Mike Lookinland: Bobby Brady Actor and Career
Mike Lookinland is an American former child actor best known for playing Bobby Brady on The Brady Bunch. Bobby is one of the children in the fictional blended Brady family; Lookinland is the performer who portrayed him. Searches for the 'actor Mike Lookinland' are generally asking for that connection and what happened after the series.
Bobby Brady in the sitcom
The Brady Bunch followed two parents and six children sharing a household, with Bobby as the youngest of the Brady boys. The show's comedy often revolved around problems at school, sibling dynamics and the adjustments of living in a large family. Lookinland's part is important to the ensemble, but the series is not a real-life account of the actor's upbringing.
Viewers looking for one particular episode should confirm the season because the children visibly grew older during the series. Reunion specials and sequel productions can also feature returning cast members, which makes the timeline more complicated than the original sitcom run alone.
Work after the original show
Lookinland returned for Brady-related productions and later worked outside the high-profile acting roles of his childhood. His public profile has included discussion of work behind the camera and family life after the sitcom's popularity. That history is better conveyed without speculating about exact current occupations or private finances.
The character's lasting recognition is unusual: people can know Bobby Brady by sight even when the performer's name is unfamiliar. That is why the most helpful biography begins with the role and then separates later professional choices.
Identifying the correct cast member
The Brady boys were Greg, Peter and Bobby. Mike Lookinland played Bobby; Barry Williams played Greg; Christopher Knight played Peter. This cast distinction helps readers navigate reunion photos or interviews. For other Brady characters, cast lists are more reliable than mixing actors and character names in the same column.
