Status as of November 2, 2026: Georgia has not yet reported general-election results for November 3. This page is held as a draft until voting ends and official unofficial totals appear. No Senate winner, governor winner or vote count is asserted here.

When will Georgia election results be available?

Georgia votes on November 3, with statewide guidance listing polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time. Official election reporting begins after applicable polls close and counties transmit returns.

Early numbers may not represent all counties or all types of ballots. No figure should be described as a final result until its provenance and reporting status are verified.

Which Georgia races are included?

The November 2026 election includes the U.S. Senate race and governor election, along with U.S. House and local contests. A statewide results page should present each race separately, rather than mixing totals from Senate, governor and congressional districts.

The Senate candidates guide is a separate pre-election page. This results page should not replace or duplicate that guide with campaign biographies.

How unofficial totals change

Georgia election officials and counties tabulate and report ballots under state rules. Returns can be updated as additional reporting units, eligible absentee ballots and other votes are processed.

Georgia’s election calendar also provides a possible runoff date in December for races that require one. Do not declare a runoff will occur unless the actual count and relevant election law support that conclusion.

Post-election editorial update checklist

Before publishing, verify the data using Georgia’s official election reporting, enter a timestamp with Eastern Time, and state whether a winner has been certified. If a reliable source has only a media projection, label it as a projection.

Avoid screenshots from social media, forecasts repackaged as totals or unlabeled percentages. Record corrections clearly when official totals change.
